GRADcafé on the Go!
GRADcafé on the Go is a mobile experience bringing information, resources, and experts offering free guidance to anyone preparing for, applying to, and enrolling in a higher education institution of their choice, and completing their college and career plans.
A partnership between Project GRAD and the Harris County Public Library, GRADcafé on the Go is dedicated to providing college access and career information, resources, and opportunities across Harris County. Students, parents, and anyone interested in going to college or starting a new career can use GRADcafé on the Go as a resource to provide direction in navigating the college and career process.
Invite GRADcafé on the Go to your community to assist with all of your college & career planning needs. We offer FREE services to help individuals decide on a career, apply to college, and find the financial aid they need.
We offer group presentations or workshops, pop-up cafés with one-on-one advising, and can set up a booth at your facility or in your neighborhood to share information and resources. Services can be delivered at schools, community centers, churches, festivals, shopping centers, apartment complexes, or other community locales.
Activities revolve around the following key areas: Career Awareness and Preparation, College Access, Financial Aid, and College Success. All services are free of charge and are available in Spanish.
Services are available in-person or virtually. Now accepting reservations for in-person services starting in November 2021. (Subject to city, county, state, and federal guidelines.)
